The method involves parameterizing temperature sensors integrated in a logistic unit, at a central base. The parameterized sensors are sent to a shipping point, positioned on the unit at the point and started-up for measurement. The temperatures communicated directly by the sensors to intermediate links of a logistic chain are read. The sensors are removed from the unit at their destination and are shipped back to the base.
