The device has a processing unit (MT) receiving a primary data to determine a secondary data that represents a vector force function of a space between the received primary data. The processing unit transmits the determined data to one of simulation stations (SS-E1, SS-E2, SS-M) such that the stations adapt a force applied to force feedback devices (DRE-E1, DRE-E2) based on the secondary data. The primary data is a representative of states of a virtual tool (R). An independent claim is also included for a process of simulating interaction between a virtual object and a virtual tool.
