The process involves sending a request for a supply of product/service to access equipment in a telecommunication network. The equipment is loaded with two rating data following corresponding supply modes from an information system of a provider/supplier. Supply cost values for the respective data are calculated in response to the request. The data corresponding to the lowest value is short listed by the access equipment. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a device of assistance of a user of a product or a service (b) a telecommunication network access gateway.
