The method involves fixing a mollusk stopping system (1) on base of a bed (10) such that an outer jacket (3) is spaced from the ground. The outer jacket surrounds an inner jacket (2) in a manner to form a cavity (5). The mollusk presented in the cavity is crushed and withdrawn from the cavity by exerting a pressure on an outer side of the jacket (3) or by lateral movement of the jacket (3) in relation to the jacket (2). Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) a system for stopping a marine gastropod mollusk from climbing from a bed (b) a device for implementing a marine gastropod mollusk capturing method.
