The process involves digital estimation of a power representative of a useful received digital signal in a radiofrequency (RF) module (51). A power representative of the interfering signal susceptible of disturbing the useful signal is also digitally estimated. The estimated power is read by a base band module (54). The read power is stored in the base band module. An independent claim is also included for a radio communication device.
