Structure consists in series of parallel rigid slats having concave surfaces glued to supporting film, and convex surfaces covered by solar cells including semiconductor polymer. Film, and therefore the slats, are rolled on a cylindrical section tube. When structure is unrolled, ends of slats are supported by a pair of parallel channels (6) or telescopic guide rails (7) extending perpendicularly to axes of slats. Slats have an arched cross-section and are positioned parallel to a supporting sheet or film. The concave surfaces of the slats are glued to the supporting film, so as to cover the surface partially or even totally. The convex surfaces of the slats are covered by solar cells which may be plane, or arched and comprise elements of semiconductor polymer.
