Digital data transfer unit comprises a circuit board (2) with a main power circuit (21), a USB interface circuit (22), a central processing unit (3), two USB connections (41, 42) and a battery (5). The battery supplies the other components via the main power circuit, while the CPU incorporates a cache memory and is responsible for activation of individual components and for execution of embedded programs to enable data input and output. The USB connections and interface circuit provide high-speed data transfer.
