The method involves detecting working conditions of a vehicle such as moving state of the vehicle and speed of movement of the vehicle. An electric closing lock activates a bolt in a position beyond a locking detent, to apply stress on air duct seals (12, 12) placed between an opening (6) and body (5) of the vehicle, when the vehicle is in predefined working conditions e.g. speed is greater that a predetermined threshold value. An independent claim is also included for an opening of the body of a motor vehicle.
