The method involves supplying brake fluid to a suction pipe (6a) by using a hydraulic pump that is equipped with a valve (7a). The valve is temporarily opened for a while after the closure of an ignition contact of a vehicle, to equalize the pressure and ventilation of the suction pipe. The valve is opened for a while after starting the pump. The valve is opened only if a brake pedal remains inactivated.
