Expressing recombinant proteins (I) comprises introducing into cyanobacteria (CB) a sequence (II) that encodes (I) downstream of an inducible transcriptional promoter of CB, then inducing expression and isolation of the (I) formed. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) vector that contains (II) under control of an inducible transcriptional promoter of CB; and (2) CG that are transformed by the vector of (1).
