The device has a cylindrical chamber (36) with an elastic and flexible membrane (46) having a movable partition separating an inner compartment (48) of an inlet conduit (12) and an annular compartment (50) extending radially and towards outside from the membrane. The partition has a flow-through opening (56) for fuel so as to balance average pressure of fuel on both sides of the partition. An independent claim is also included for a fuel injection installation in a combustion chamber of a heat engine.
