The process involves simultaneously reading a couple of words of n bits of a triplet in each of two memories, according to the address of a word within one of the memories. Three consecutive words are extracted from among the four n bit words contained in the two read n bit words, according to the column in which the word within either of the memories is found. An independent claim is also included for a micro-controller comprising a device for access to a triplet of words of n consecutive bits.
