The cage has a truncated V-block opening towards a connection portion (3) and including an apex oriented towards a front end of the cage. Branches (1, 2) have respective front ends (11, 21) angularly spaced by unscrewing a screw (5) and moving a head (51) of the screw away from the portion in direction of the apex. The head supports the front ends of the branches against pressure exerted by vertebral bodies.
