The filter has a casing (2) delimiting a filter chamber (3), a fluid e.g. oil, inlet channel (8), and an outlet channel. A by-pass channel (12) permits communication between the channel (8) and a fluid return circuit. The channel (12) has a section (12c) acting as housing for a sealing device and an elastic stress unit (14) that simultaneously permit anti-return function of fluid and by-pass function of fluid.
