The device has a case (7), case walls (8) and a housing (9), together integrating an electric motor (3), axle (4) and a flyweight (5), with a binding wire (6) of a structure unit e.g. motor vehicle seat. The units (3-5) create mechanical vibration under the effect of a control signal. The walls delimit an interstice (11) having an opening accommodating the wire to fix the device on the wire by deforming the walls. An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle seat.
