The module has a reflector, a light source (3) e.g. xenon lamp, a cover plate (4) and a Fresnel lens (5) that are arranged from rear to front along a longitudinal reference axis (6). The plate forms a cutoff in an emitted light beam. The lens is mounted movable between a main position in which an optical axis of the lens is collinear with the axis (6) and a secondary position in which the optical axis is moved parallel to the axis (6). An independent claim is also included for a motor vehicle having a headlight with a lighting module.
