The system has a shifting finger (11) carried by an actuator (10). Juxtaposed pinions (12a-12d) selectively drive a set of shift forks (13a-13d), for displacement of jaw clutches, under the action of the shifting finger. The pinions have driving arms (121a-121d) to drive a jaw clutches displacing fork. The driving arms extend transversely in the driving direction (D) of the forks.
