The invention concerns a cyclic air cushioned over-seat or overlay that attaches to aircraft passenger seats. The over-seat is composed of individual air-cells and has an electronic control system with pressure sensors that monitors and controls the flow of air to the cells. The over-seat is designed to initially condition itself to the patients weight and then it provides cyclic air inflation/deflation of the cells to produce a peristaltic motion. The over-seat is designed to reduce the risk of DVT (deep vein thrombosis) during long flights.
