PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition which has excellent sealability, gas barrier property and abrasion resistance, is well sanitary, and is used for container lid liners, and to provide a container lid liner using the composition.;SOLUTION: This thermoplastic elastomer composition for the container lid liners is characterized by comprising the following components (a), (b) and (c). (a) A block copolymer represented by the general formula: [(A-B)_n] and/or [(A-B)_n-A] and having a weight-average mol.wt. of 150,000 to 1,000,000, wherein A is a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon polymer block; B is an elastomeric polymer block which may be hydrogenated; (n) is an integer of 1 to 5.
