PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for film having excellent biodegradability, practical heat-resistance and improved physical properties such as impact resistance.;SOLUTION: The aliphatic polyester resin composition having low branching degree and high molecular weight is composed of (a) an aliphatic polyester having low branching degree and high molecular weight and composed of an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid residue, an aliphatic diol residue and optionally an aliphatic hydroxycarboxylic acid residue, wherein a specific ratio of the aliphatic dicarboxylic acid residue is succinic acid residue, and the polyester has a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) not smaller than a specific level, a small (Mw/Mn) ratio of the weight-average molecular weight (Mw) to the number-average molecular weight (Mn) and a low content of a branch structure having a specific structure and (b) a specific aliphatic polyester.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
