PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply judge the presence of an iron component in water to be tested.;SOLUTION: This reagent for judging the iron component contains a first agent for reducing trivalent iron ions to divalent iron ions and the second agent mixed with the first agent to react with divalent iron ions to form a color. When the reagent is added to water to be tested, the trivalent iron ions in the water to be tested are reduced to divalent iron ions by the first agent. The formed divalent iron ions and the divalent iron ions present in the water to be tested from beginning are reacted with the second agent to form a color.
