PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the mutual adjustment of a shadow mask and an X-ray detector.;SOLUTION: This invention relates to the shadow mask of the X-ray detector including detector elements 6, 6.1 to 6.19 provided especially for a computed tomography unit 1. The shadow mask includes a mask plate 18 having a plurality of holes 19 assigned to the detector elements 6, respectively. At least one adjusting hole (22 to 29, 41 to 44, 51 to 54, 81 to 86) of the mask plate 18 has dimensions enlarged to correspond to the dimensions of at least two detector elements (6.1 to 6.19). The adjusting hole is used for adjusting the shadow mask on the X-ray detector 5. A measurement signal of the detector element (6.1 to 6.19) corresponding to at least one adjusting hole is obtained using X-ray. According to the comparison of the measurement signal of the detector element, the aperture mask and the X-ray detector 5 are mutually relatively adjusted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
