PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low ignitable and easily recyclable organic solvent as a solvent for waste solutions containing photoresist materials in each process for treating electronic parts for semiconductors, printed substrates, liquid crystals or the like.;SOLUTION: This method for recycling ethylene carbonate has an extraction process for bringing the ethylene carbonate containing dissolved materials into contact with an inorganic salt aqueous solution to extract the dissolved materials with the aqueous solution.
