PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for coating a hollow-fiber hemocatharsis membrane with surface modifier capable of widely applying various types of surface modifiers such as hydrophilic agent, antithrombotic and antioxidant to various types of blood internal perfusion type hollow-fiber hemocatharsis membranes such as a hemodialysis membrane, a hemofiltration membrane, a hemodiafiltration membrane and a plasmapheresis membrane, and highly efficiently and sufficiently exhibiting characteristics given by the surface modifier while retaining its permselectivity and to provide a surface modifier coated hollow-fiber hemocatharsis membrane provided by using the same method and a surface modifier coated hollow-fiber hemocatharsis appliance formed by being filled with the surface modifier coated hollow-fiber hemocatharsis membrane.;SOLUTION: When coating the surface of the blood internal perfusion type hollow-fiber hemocatharsis membrane formed by containing membrane pore hold-back agent with the surface modifier, this method introduces organic solvent solution, organic solvent dispersion liquid, or organic solvent suspension containing both of the membrane pore hold-back agent and the surface modifier to the coating object surface side of the hollow-fiber hemocatharsis membrane and pressurizes it.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
