PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliability design method and a reliability analysis system for improving transport quality for rolling stocks by improving the reliability, considering not only the number of failures but also lengths of operation stopping times by failures. PSOLUTION: A control part 202 of a personal computer accepts record input of failure from a person in charge of maintenance and makes a communication control part 201 transmit it to a computer 100. A control part 201 of the computer 100 outputs a record of failure which a communication control part 101 received from the personal computer 200 via a network to a data management part 103 to write it into failure record data 108. The control part 102 sequentially outputs a model inputted from a person in charge of design to a Fit calculation part 106, a Dit calculation part 105 and a D/F calculation part 104 to execute calculations of a Fit number, a Dit number that is an operation stopping time per 10 billion hours, and D/F that is the ratio thereof, respectively, and outputs a tabulation result table 107 that is the calculation result to a display part to display it.
