PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a particle-strengthened alloy composite material which is mechanically strengthened by dispersing extremely fine first metal oxide particles with a nanometer- or micron-order particle size in an alloy based on the first metal containing a second metal more active than the first metal.;SOLUTION: The method S10 for manufacturing the particle-strengthened alloy composite material comprises a molding step S11 wherein a powder of a parent metal based on the first metal is mixed with powder(s) of one or more third metal oxides less active than the first metal to form a pre-molded product, a baking step S12 wherein the pre-molded product is heated to produce the first metal oxide particle which is a seed material for the alloy based on the first metal, and a dispersing step S13 wherein the seed material is added to a melt of the parent metal based on the first metal or, alternatively, the seed material and the parent metal based on the first metal are melted, stirred and mixed to disperse the first metal oxide particles.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
