PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable device capable of detecting dimethyl ether in LP gas with high selectivity in a short time. PSOLUTION: This device is equipped with a column 25 using a polymer-based filler suitable for separation of a carbonyl compound or glycols as a filler, a photoionization detector using a high-energy vacuum ultraviolet ray as an irradiation source, and a gas cylinder 30 for supplying standard gas.
