PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an edible mushroom capable of being marketed in a more dried, more freshly and living state than ever, by specifying a water content required for growing a mushroom fungus to be 0.3-0.5%, to obtain a powder of the mushroom thus grown, to obtain a granule thereof, to obtain a tablet thereof, and to obtain an encapsulated product thereof. PSOLUTION: This method includes a soaking process for adding 500 g to 100 kg of at least one kind selected from a group consisting of a spawn, a mycelial pellet, a sclerotial mass, and a mycelium of Agaricus blasei murill, or of the Agaricus blasei murill and other edible mushrooms, to 1 L of an extract of viable fungi of the Agaricus blasei murill and soaking the selected one in the extract of the viable fungi of the Agaricus blasei murill for 16 to 36 hr and a drying process for drying the soaked one by a hot air of 350-500 W for 70-80 min after the extract is drained off, wherein an environment for growing the spawn is made to be deteriorated by repeating cycles each comprising the soaking process and the drying process two or more times, so that the fungal mushroom itself is made to be independently grown in the deteriorated environment as the spawn, the mycelial pellet, the sclerotial mass and/or the mycelium.
