PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitatively evaluate a color difference correlated sufficiently with visual observation evaluation, as to an anisotropic sample applied with metallic coating, pearl coating or the like.;SOLUTION: This colorimetric system S is provided with a reflected light measuring instrument 1 having a multiangle type geometry, a measurement control means 2, a photodetective data processing means 3, a color difference calculation means 4, a color difference expression/coefficient storage part 5, an operation means 6, an output part 71 and a display part 72. The color difference calculation means 4 receives setting of a coefficient in response to the geometry, and finds the color difference, using a color difference expression capable of setting optionally coefficients about lightness, saturation and hue. The coefficient is set to satisfy a relation of L1L2, where L1 represents the lightness coefficient in the color difference expression applied to photodetective data of a highlight optical system, and L2 represents the lightness coefficient in the color difference expression applied to the photodetective data of a shade optical system.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
