PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color chart evaluation system by which all information regarding conditions for forming a color chart can be transmitted, a color chart printer, a color chart colorimeter, and their methods. PSOLUTION: Print conditions are recorded on the color chart 60. The print conditions are acquired by the colorimeter 50 and an MS computer 70. It is possible to evaluate a color patch for color evaluation corresponding to the print conditions, with which the color chart 60 is prepared, and also possible to prepare correction data 90. When the print conditions are recorded on the color chart 60, color of a color patch for condition evaluation and a character constituting various codes are made to correspond to each other. Accordingly, various information can be decoded by executing colorimetry to the color patch for condition evaluation. The combinations of characters are innumerable.
