PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a disk-like information medium and a disk-like information medium comprising a printable layer which is formed by setting a color material receiving layer on a underlayer, can perform the print of high image quality and can prevent the peeling-off of the color material receiving layer at the edge.;SOLUTION: This manufacturing method is for manufacturing a disk-like information medium formed with an underlayer and a printable layer including a color material receiving layer on a substrate. The manufacturing method of the disk-like information medium is characterized by containing a process to set up the underlayer whose a periphery radius is r_a on the substrate, and a process to set up the color material receiving layer which has a peripheral radius of r_b and satisfies a relation of r_a≥r_b, in this order.
