PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid distortions or wall thickness variations in a glass wall, especially of a hollow glass body, formed by hot shaping.;SOLUTION: The hot shaping is performed by utilizing a vacuum forming or vacuum-deep drawing process. A hollow glass body and a measuring body sleeve for a neutrino detector made by this method are also described.
