The present invention relates to a method for the hot forming of flat glass, borosilicate glass, in particular to a hollow glass body.In the past, to the hot deformation of the borosilicate glasses the conventional bending - and blowing process is used, in which a method of typical distortions or wall thickness changes occur in the deformed glass wall.In order to avoid this, the invention provides that the hot deformation takes place by means of a vacuum - deep-drawing process.The present invention furthermore relates to a hollow glass body produced according to the aforementioned method, as well as to a use of this hollow glass body as measuring body sleeve for a neutrino - detector.
