SAFE AND FAST DATABASE REPLICATION TECHNOLOGY

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and fast database replication system which is free from loss of information when a fault occurs, and has a high performance of the entire system and can be quickly started. PSOLUTION: Information is synchronized by waiting for both completion of transfer to a transfer destination node and the completion of write to a storage in a transfer source node when transferring a transaction log, thereby loss of data is suppressed. Restoration processing is not performed in the transfer destination node when a fault occurs but is performed at any time immediately after transfer of the transaction log instead, so that restoration from the fault is quickened.
