PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission waveform controlling method which suppresses an increase in waveform data capacity and a decline in ultrasonic frame rate of an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus which simultaneously executes pulse modulation and transmitting apodization.;SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus is equipped with a waveform controlling means which composed of a waveform memory 11 to store a standard quantized waveform data produced by quantizing the waveform common to driving signals of two or more vibrators by a first frequency, a transmitting apodization section 12 to output the apodization setting data to suppress a side lobe in electronic scanning due to the vibrators, a pulse modulation bit generating section 14 to output a correction pulse which is quantized by a second frequency higher than the first frequency and corrects the individual driving of the vibrators to the standard quantized waveforms, a multiplication means 13 which executes the multiplication processing of the output of the waveform memory and the output of the apodization section, and an adder 15 to add the output of the multiplication means and the output of the correction pulse modulating means, and is characterized by controlling the driving of the vibrators by the output of the waveform controlling means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
