PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a tunnel, a large cross-sectional tunnel, and a construction method of the tunnel, capable of economically coping with a free linear shape.;SOLUTION: This large cross-sectional tunnel 1 is constructed by using a plurality of tunnels T having a first section SA for constructing the predetermined extension starting from a pit mouth by a pipe jacking method and a residual second section SB including a curved part constructed by a shield construction method.
