PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the degradation of image quality due to delay from the expected time that an outputted gradient magnetic field has in an MRI device. PSOLUTION: The MRI device 1 for generating prescribed MR images on the basis of echo signals gathered by a prescribed pulse sequence is provided with a group delay calculation means 15 for calculating group delay equivalent to the delay from the expected time that the outputted gradient magnetic field has on the basis of an ideal gradient magnetic field waveform and the observed waveform of the gradient magnetic field calculated by using the echo signals from a test piece for magnetic field measurement arranged at a prescribed position.
