PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asynchronous frame transmission method for strictly ensuring beginning of a super frame in residential Ethernet(R), by controlling the output of an asynchronous frame to be transmitted. PSOLUTION: The asynchronous frame transmission method includes a first step (S63) of comparing the size (L2) of asynchronous data to be transmitted with a size (L1) of an empty transmission area in an asynchronous frame part; a second step of inserting the asynchronous data to be transmitted into the vacant transmission area, when the size (L2) is smaller than or equal to the size (L1); a third step of determining if the size (L1) is larger than a predetermined threshold, when the size (L2) is larger than the size (L1); a fourth step of performing transfer with the vacant transmission area left, when the size (L1) is smaller than the predetermined threshold; and a fifth step of segmenting the asynchronous data to be transmitted, according to the size (L1) of the empty transmission area when the size (L1) is larger than the predetermined threshold, inserting the segmented asynchronous data into the empty transmission area, and inserting and transmitting remaining segmented asynchronous data in a subsequent transmission cycle.
