PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging microphone used by being hanged from a ceiling via a microphone cable, the hanging microphone of which the sound collection direction is easily adjusted and changed after being hanged.;SOLUTION: In the hanging microphone used by hanging a microphone unit from the ceiling via the microphone cable, a shape memory alloy wire 120 expanded/contracted in an axial direction is embedded into an outer sheath of the microphone cable 100 for hanging the microphone unit, a power application DC power supply 130 is connected between both ends of the shape memory alloy wire 120 and the sound collection direction of the microphone unit can be adjusted by contracting the shape memory alloy wire 120 by the power application heating thereby displacing the microphone cable 100 in a twisted direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
