MIDI PERFORMANCE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a MIDI performance method which causes no deviation in synchronism between a MIDI performance and event processing.;SOLUTION: When a MIDI performance is carried out by analyzing MIDI data from the beginning of a musical piece, in the case that a synchronization event message embedded in the MIDI data is detected on the side of a sequencer 22 which analyzes the MIDI data in time-series order, the number of synchronization event message is accumulated and a request for interruption processing is sent to a host CPU 24. The host CPU side having received the interruption request executes synchronization event processing until the number of executed synchronization events reaches the accumulated number.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
