PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently molding a member, which requires a strict right-angle, being a hollow rectangular parallelepiped made of FRP with an opening on its one surface side, and also to provide a mold used therein.;SOLUTION: In molding the hollow rectangular parallelepiped made of FRP with an opening on its one surface side, a mold, which is composed of a main mold made of a metal for forming the outer surface of the hollow rectangular parallelepiped, and a core made of a metal for forming the inner surface of the hollow rectangular parallelepiped and having the coefficient of thermal expansion larger than that of the hollow rectangular parallelepiped, are used. For example, the main mold comprises carbon steel and the core comprises aluminum or an aluminum alloy.
