PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably synthesize finer nanoparticles (of ≤3 nm) by more inexpensively replacing expensive solvents (octyl ether, phosphoric acid (TOP, TOPO)), and harmful raw materials (metal carbonyl) with more inexpensive and safer substance in an atmosphere milder than that in the conventional method.;SOLUTION: In the method for synthesizing metal or alloy nanoparticles, transition metal-surfactant salt is reduced in an organic solvent with a strong reducing agent (sodium borohydrate).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
