INCLUSIVE IMMOBILIZED CARRIER, AND WASTE WATER TREATMENT APPARATUS AND WASTE WATER TREATMENT METHOD

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclusive immobilized carrier which is hardly damaged when being returned to a biological treatment tank by a pump to dispense with rebuilding of an existing biological treatment tank performing waste water treatment by activated sludge, and of which the particle diameter can be made small to greatly improve treatment efficiency. PSOLUTION: The inclusive immobilized carrier 12 satisfies following conditions: (A) when the thickness of the carrier before being compressed is expressed as HSB0/SB, and the thickness of the carrier when being broken by compression is expressed as HSB1/SB, a transformation ratio expressed by (HSB0/SB-HSB1/SB)/HSB0/SBis 70%, and (B) its particle diameter ranges within 0.1-1.0 mm. The inclusive immobilized carriers 12 are fed to the biological treatment tank 14 without a screen, and the inclusive immobilized carriers 12 flowing out into a solid-liquid separation tank 16 so as to be accompanied by treated water are returned to the biological treatment tank 14 by transfer using a pump 20.
