PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a starved-state molding device constituted so as to easily and stably produce a molding having good quality. PSOLUTION: This device, while feeding a flowable thermoplastic solid raw material in a fixed quantity by a fixed quantity feeder mechanism 20 in order to form appropriate degassing gaps in a plasticizing cylinder 101 of a plasticizing part 10, is provided with a camera monitoring means 206 for easily monitoring from outside the device the degassing gaps in the plasticizing cylinder 101 of the plasticizing part 10, and thereby constituted so that the degassing gaps in a feed zone FA in the plasticizing cylinder 101 of the plasticizing part 10 is made visible and a hungry-state molding process is well maintained.
