PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door panel latch device capable of preventing a door panel from being removed when strong wind of typhoon occurs.;SOLUTION: This door panel latch device 10 is composed of a main body part 11 whose whole shape is long, a first fastening member 12 fixed onto a side face at one end in the longitudinal direction of the main body part 11, a second fastening member 13 fixed onto a side face at the other end in the longitudinal direction of the main body part 11, and a buffer member 14 provided on a side face of the main body part 11. This door panel latch device can be expanded and contracted by matching with size of a rain shutter door frame and is fixed by inserting the first fastening member 12 and the second fastening member 13 like thin plates between the rain shutter door frame 2 and the door panel 3 to attach and detach it simply and easily without using another tool. This door panel removal preventing device is fixed by stretching it over upper and lower parts of the rain shutter door frame in a central part of door panel width to protect a central part of the door panel being weak for strong wind, reinforce the rain shutter door frame, and prevent the door panel from being removed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
