PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-color impression printing device which can precisely perform a printing registration process, even when meshy cells are formed in the surface of each plate cylinder, and a multi-color impression printing method.;SOLUTION: Each printing means 10a, 10b, 10c and 10d puts first register marks 40a₁, 40b₁, 40c₁, 40d₁ and second register marks 40a₂, 40b₂, 40c₂ and 40d₂ to a printing substrate W. The first register marks 40a₁, 40b₁, 40c₁ and 40d₁ have edges 41a, 41b, 41c and 41d extending in the feed direction respectively, and the second register marks 40a₂, 40b₂, 40c₂ and 40d₂ have edges 42a, 42b, 42c and 42d extending in the width direction respectively.
