PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a micropattern of apatite, by which a fine concave and convex pattern or a structure which has been hardly produced by a conventional technology and in which the porosity is changed periodically can be extremely easily formed on a surface; an apatite sheet formed by the same, which is useful as a cell culture substrate or a scaffold material in the anagenetic engineering; and a method for producing the same.;SOLUTION: A striped pattern of apatite having a period of 20-200 μm, is formed in gel by converting an acidic aqueous solution containing phosphoric acid ion and calcium ion into gel, then allowing an alkaline aqueous solution to diffuse from the outside of the gel, and depositing a precipitate by the lowering in the solubility associated with an increase in pH.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
