PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap set to a water storage vessel for watering potted plants that can naturally water the potted plants by feeding the water in the vessel through the hole bored on the pot bottom with the inner pressure and the capillary phenomenon stably in order to prevent the potted plants from withering during the absence, for example, travel.;SOLUTION: In the cap (1) set to the water storage vessel (9) for watering potted plants, the one terminal of a vinyl tube (4) is fixed to the cap (1) of the water storage vessel (9) and a braid (5) is fixed to the other terminal so that it may cover the vinyl tube (4). The one terminal of a thin string (3) is inserted from the inside of the cap (1) into the vinyl tube (4) and the braid (5) and the one terminal of the thin string (3) is fixed to the braid (5), while the other terminal of the thin string (3) is inserted into the water storage vessel (9). The water in the water storage vessel (9) is held in a certain amount in the braid (5) fixed to the vinyl tube (4) by the inner pressure of the vessel (9) and the capillary phenomenon in the thin string (3) and the water is allowed to be absorbed naturally via the bottom hole (7) of the pot by the capillary phenomenon of the pot soil (11).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
