PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a myocardial cell bioassay having a myocardial pulsating cell network in a state of physical contact with other cell/interaction between cells.;SOLUTION: In a cell bioassay chip, a collected cell microarray having grooves or tunnels connecting spaces between a plurality of partition walls for adjacently trapping four or more myocardial pulsating cells in specific space configurations and providing a plurality of electrode patterns for measuring electric potential change of cells in each groove or tunnel and arranging optically transparent semipermeable membranes and culture solution tanks on the partition walls is formed on a substrate one myocardial pulsating cell is stored each of a plurality of micropartitions and a test sample is added to each of micropartitions and electric potential change or shape change of cells stored in each of the micropartitions is observed to carry out bioassay.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
