DIAGNOSIS METHOD OF INFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE, AND KIT FOR DIAGNOSIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnosis method of an inflammatory bowel disease such as ulcerative colitis using a body fluid as a specimen which is applicable to a multi-marker system.;SOLUTION: The inflammatory bowel disease is diagnosed by comparing the concentration of a marker material in a body fluid with a normal value. At least one kind of fifteen kinds of proteins is used as the marker material. The concentration of the marker material can be measured by mass spectrometry. The concentration of the marker material can be also measured by grasping the marker material by a carrier onto which a material having affinity to the marker material is immobilized. The inflammatory bowel disease can be diagnosed more simply by a kit for diagnosis of the inflammatory bowel disease including the carrier onto which the material having affinity to the marker material is immobilized.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
